Ford Wet Belt Replacement
A wet timing belt works inside the engine and runs in the engine oil. Because of this, servicing and using the correct oil specification are particularly important.
When a wet belt starts to deteriorate, pieces of belt material can find their way into the oil. This can build up around the oil pickup and restrict oil flow, which can lead to oil-pressure problems and, if ignored, further engine damage.
